Kiara
7 yr old homozygous mare
in foal
Kiara is a neat,
rare find! She's a Lion King daughter, and homozygous like so many of his
offspring. She's a beautiful girl, with her awesome shape and type, and
gorgeous blue eyes. She's a nice quite-natured mare, very easy to live
with. She is a good worker, she drives double and has been ridden several
times. Kiara is one of our show string this year, she has been being used
in our Farm and Feed Team entry as part of a team with various other horses.
We have been holding on to her until the winter shows were over, but now will
agree to sell her to someone that wants one that is a bit special. Kiara
just tears up the ring when she's working, she does such a great job in the ring
or around the farm. She is one of those horses that just tries and tries
and will never let you down. She always gives her best. and wants to
please. She is great to use at the shows too, as nothing bothers her!
To make her an awesome package, Kiara is not only in foal, but she is in foal to
the amazing stallion "Nobby", son of the Lottery Horse, for the summertime.
What an awesome mixing of bloodlines, Lion King and Vines-Nobby! Price: $22,000 (in
Colorado)

Kiara and Babydoll tear up the ring in the Farm Team Race at the Big Thunder draft horse show in Loveland, Colorado, on Jan 15, 2006.

Kiara (left) and Babydoll (with Kevin Paul of Driving Horse Connection at the
lines) wait for their turn at the course.

Feed bags-a-flying! Jeff tosses on a feed bag while "the girls" stand
patiently waiting for their direction.

Coming in for home. With a GREAT time, the girls come in for a landing
pulling their forecart and feed sled.
An impromptu breed demo was requested at the show, so Kiara got a riding career as well. She did wonderfully!
