Coming 3-year old
stallion
Romeo is a beautiful
coming 3 year old colt whom we've used this past summer as a breeding stallion.
He is from "Jim's" breeding, and is out of the big mare, "Roma". He spent
the summer turned out in a pasture with some young mares, and settled every one
of them in short time. He's a gentle, easy breeder and is also quiet &
calm to work with. We presented Romeo in the show-ring at the Gypsy Cob
show in Colorado this summer. He walked out as the grand-champion stallion
with well-filled classes behind him. He's the kind of boy who comes in to
a show ring knowing that he owns the place, and the judges take notice.
Romeo is a bigger boy, and measures just over 15.1 hands. He'll likely put
on a bit more height before he's finished.
He has a great body, wonderful legs, and plenty of silky feather. If
you're looking for a stallion prospect whom you can turn out with the mares, and
put in the shows, Romeo is a clear choice. We won't put our own mares to
just any stallion, but it didn't take much to see that Romeo has what it takes.
Romeo's first foal crop is due in the Spring/Summer of 2008.
Romeo is currently in training being broke to ride, and progressing quite well.
He has also spent time being broke in harness and has come along quite nicely.
