Black Kizzi

Here is Black Kizzi.  She is a nicely built black mare who is sired by Flash the Blagdon Horse, who is a stallion we imported last year (now known as 'Bear' by his new owner).  Kizzi has been broke to ride and drive, but we haven't had a chance to try her out yet.  She arrived here heavy in foal just before our open house in September, then gave us a fabulous filly the day after the open house.  When a mare can produce like this, she's worth taking a close look at.
Black Kizzi is being offered along with her filly foal.  This filly is simply phenomenal.  See her photos below.  I have never seen a heavier filly at two months old.  Her sweet pint-pot head is the epitome of what the Gypsies breed for.  Her personality is absolutely wonderful.  She's the first to come see you in the pasture, and makes all the other foals want to be around you as well.  The sire of this filly is Brother Alcock's horse, "Fella", who is by Eddie's Old Black Horse - Making "Fella" a brother to "Royal" and "Legend Boy".  These two are on our farm in Colorado and ready to go to their new home any time.

Black Kizzi's filly at 2 months old.  Note that sweet little head and compact body.  Don't let the tint of her baby coat fool you.  She will shed out black-as-night just like her mom (she's already started around her eye & muzzle)

In this photo below, just look at her hair (feather).  Sure, she has great feather behind, but the feather in front is what counts, and in her case it is nearly touching the ground.  This shot was taken when she was 2 months old.  I challenge you to find another filly with hair like this at this age.  You won't find many, I can guarantee.
