Clown
5 year old bred mare
If someone were to ask me who my favorite horse on the farm
is, I'd be telling lies if I said it was any other than 'Clown'. In fact,
there isn't a person on the farm who doesn't just love this mare. Whoever
wrote the description of the Gypsy horse as sweet, loving, intelligent and
docile was with this horse at the time. She is all these and more.
Clown has a nice, wide body and stands about 14.1 hands. She has a great
body, nice straight legs, and good mustache as well. She is well in foal
to SD farms, "Jim",
and is due in the spring of 2008.
Clown is one of those mares who really isn't concerned about what you ask of
her. Any attention is "good attention" to her, and she can't get enough of
it. She isn't broke, but that will be a simple matter. I jumped on
her the day we did these photos, and she stood without a care. If you're
seeking a sweet, lovable mare who will make a great family horse, then there's
no better choice than 'Clown'.
Update: Clown foaled a beautiful filly on April 2,
2008. See her photo below.
Price: $35,000
(mare and filly together)

(below) Here is Clown's filly born April 2, 2008, and shown at
24 hours old. Blacks are born with a mousy-grey coat which later sheds out
black. This filly is black with 4 white socks and a blaze, nice short
back, sweet head, perfect shoulder, and plenty of hair already
