Homozygous weanling colt

Darren is a nicely built Black & white weanling colt who recently arrived on our farm from England.  Christine arranged to buy six weanling colts from this breeder's herd of more than 90.  Needless to say, each one is going to be one of the best, and Darren was one of the chosen few.  He is sired by SD's good stallion, "Jack", and his dam is known by SD as "The Dolly Mare".  We have tried to buy the Dolly Mare for some time now, but he won't sell her to us.  Well, why would he, if she can produce like this.

Darren has a great body with a beautiful white mane.  He has nice heavy bone and great feather - even at this young age.  Compare him to other colts you see at 6 months old.  Darren is easy to work with, and should be a real joy to train..  He has a nice size to him, and I would expect him to mature around 14.2 or 14.3 hands.   He has a blue eye on the right, and 1/2 blue eye on the left.

Darren was tested and confirmed homozygous for the tobiano trait which means he'll produce that pattern in all his offspring.

Darren is on our farm in Colorado and ready to go to his new home at any time.
